Who should attend?

Access to a Cardiac First Response Advanced course is for persons practicing (volunteering or working) in EMS, fire and rescue services and for healthcare professionals.

Learners must be over 18 years of age

Course Content

  • Revision of CPR and AED

  • The use of an Oropharyngeal Airway (OPA)

  • Supraglottic Airway (SGA)

  • Bag valve mask

  • Pulse checks

  • 2 person CPR

  • Oxygen administration

  • Post resuscitation care

 

Certification

Pre Hospital Emergency Care Council CFR ADVANCED Course Certificate

Refcertification required every 2 years
