Participants who have completed this course will be able to
Carry out their own courses training operatives in the safe selection and mounting of abrasive wheels in accordance with the relevant regulations.
Training is Solas approved (Formerly FÁS) and is provided in accordance with the Safety in Industry (Abrasive Wheels) Regulations 1982 (SI No.30/1982).

Candidates must have attended a basic Abrasive Wheel course.

The training involves candidate participation with the emphasis on the practical element of the training. On day two the candidate will carry out a practical training session on which they will be assessed.
